VUE has a new home!

Moving is a process...exhilarating but exhausting! I'm not sure what has made me more tired...carrying boxes, moving couches, or my emotional excitement! I've done my signature "happy dance" on numerous occasions in the past two weeks. 

The new address is : 439 Grace Ave. (we're the whole second floor loft)  Our building is OLD!!  It was built sometime in the early 1900's and used as a drapery room.  For the past 18 years an amazing painter occupied the loft.  Even though she has moved out, the space is still decorated with her energy...it lingers in all of the cracks and crannies! And believe me there are many of them.  But that's the attraction... it has so much personality. 

The floors are hard wood and slant from the front of the building to the back.  So much so that we use it as entertainment.  We've started an inner studio "roller chair" team and have daily races.  Toy cars are pretty fun to...keeps things lively:) Also- the floors inspired Vue's new slogan is "Slightly Slanted" which is oddly fitting.

We're just about settled...lights up, computers wired, itunes blaring, coffee brewing! Final images of our new pad should be up by next week.  But for now I thought that I would show you the good, the bad, and the ugly of our moving escapades. Let's call it a bonding experience....my attempt at show n'tell!

I'm trying hard to be happy for you but instead I'm utterly JEALOUS!! I need a studio space! I'll have to come by and visit soon....can't wait!
